Electric Razor Wet Shave

I’m new to using an electric wet shaver, tips?

I just purchased a new razor that is something new for me, and electric wet shaver. It promises the ease and speed of an electric shave with the closness of a blade. Should I still use my pre-shave oil and low foaming shaving cream like I did for my razor, or am I going to need different products? I’m very new to this method of shaving, so any help would be great.
