Tips on how to have smooth legs please?

I have been shaving my legs with disposable shavers for many years but I always had bumps after. Recently I bought a more expensive razor to try and have smooth legs, but it didn’t help. This morning, I shaved my legs with shaving cream and they are smoother than they are usually but they’re still a little rough.
does anyone have any tips?

Exfoliate! 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp water! and scrub,scrub,scrub:) rinse with warm water and while your legs are still wet rub on some baby oil and pat your legs dry:)
