How do I shave my neck cleanly with no razor burn?

No matter what I’m using, my face gets shaved clean and soft but my neck ALWAYS has razor burn and some missed hard-to-get hairs. I used to use a regular razor but the razor burn was awful. I started using a Braun shaver but I always can’t cleanly shave my neck and if I do get all the hairs or most of them I always have razor burn.

I tend to shave before my shower on dry skin to try to get the most hairs and then I hop in my shower. What can I do to eliminate razor burn and still get my neck cleanly shaved? And is it better to use my Braun shaver or a regular razor?

the problem is your dry shaving, no matter how you put it if you dont use shaving cream , lotion, or even conditoiner, your gonna get razor burn, electric shavers arent evry good if you want a clean smooth shave, try useing a thin layer of lotion and a regular razor
