Shaving wih acne?? Help please ?

Im 16 and recently I have had to start shaving, and the fact that I have acne (A little worse then moderate) makes it harder for me to shave. Now on my jaw line and in areas where i have facial hair my acne is not that bad very little there but I do get the odd pimple, nothing major. But It still sucks using a regular razor because it cuts pimples and stuff. Through personal experience, I’ve always found electric razors to be highly more irritating than manual ones. The more blades on your razor, the smoother and more gentle the shave will be. Also, it is incredibly important to apply little pressure (In other words, let the razor do the work for you) and to use a shaving cream (not shaving oil, this will only clog pores and make acne worse). Also, if you use a mild facial cleanser afterward, your shaving really shouldn’t aggravate acne, so long as your gentle with your skin. I’d also suggest (if you haven’t already done this) to see a doctor about your skin condition, he can provide much advice and can prescribe anitiotics or a good medicated facial cleanser to help you effectively clear your acne problem.
