Electric Shaver For Legs

How can I get a close shave with an electric razor for my legs?
I’m a 10 year old girl. My mom won’t let me use an actual razor, because she’s afraid that I’ll cut myself. My razor/shaver does NOT get a close shave at all! Is there any way to make it? Please help! I want to know before spring, when I have to wear shorts! Thanks! 
Those things won’t give you a close shave. ever. if she won’t let u shave, ask her if you can wax.
