Electric Razor Travel

I’ve never used a razor before. How do I do it?

I’m 13 and I’m going to a wedding tomorrow so I want to shave properly. Up to now I’ve used an electric shaver…. but it doesn’t work very well so I want to do it properly. My dress cuts off above my dress and goes to just below the knee.
How do I make sure I don’t cut myself? Do I just run it over my skin? What do I do for the creamy stuff people use?
I’ve got so many questions! I’m very niave and I’m very unsure about how to do it properly. I can’t ask my mom because she is traveling tonight to be with her sister(the bride) and I only have brothers.
Help! Please, how do I do it?
Can I shave my under arms?

Shaving lotion helps make your razor run more smoothly when shaving. If you can’t get a hold of any in time, though, use conditioner. Make sure you shave in the shower: it helps prevent razor burn (little red bumps you can get after shaving).
Start at your ankle and go up towards your knee. Have the razer toutching you but run it very lightly. It does not take much pressure to shave off the hair and if you apply pressure, you will be more likely to cut yourself. Also, don’t panic if you do cut yourself. We all do sometimes. I bought a cheap disposable razer the other day and ended up with multiple cuts. They really don’t hurt though and cuts from razers are very tiny and are not noticed once you are out of the shower so you dont have to worry about having cut up looking legs with your dress.

Just remember to do it lightly and be extra careful around fragile area’s (like behind your knee) because that would be the area that would sting a little bit to cut.
