What Electric Razor is the best one for men’s face?

I want to buy my husband an electric razor for Christmas, he has never used one before. He says he heard they dont work. Do they? I would like to buy the best one i can that will make his face baby soft. I love when he has a soft hair free face. So what brand and model works the best?

My beard is so thick that when working in public I have to shave two times a day. I shaved for years with foam and a razor, then got in a position where I had to shave while on the road, so I bought an electric. Once a man gets used to shaving with a good electric razor there’s nothing better.

I have two that I use regularly, A Braun 5612 that I use on the road and a Panasonic Linear Wet/Dry that I use at home.

They are both cordless/rechargeable. I prefer the Panasonic because it is wet/dry and can be used in the shower or bathtub, which makes for a much more comfortable, closer shave.

My Panasonic is 6 years old and I’ve changed the blades only once. The Braun is 2 years, has the original blades, and still shaves like new…

There are several good brands of electric razor on the market but which ever brand, I’d definitely recommend a wet/dry, especially for someone who is not used to an electric.

With proper cleaning and maintenance a good electric razor will give years of trouble free operation.
