Braun Shaver Cleaner Cartridges

Can the Clean&Renew cartridges for the Braun 360 Complete shaver be refilled with rubbing alcohol?

The cartridges themselves say SD alcohol 40 on them. Not the same as rubbing alcohol but I assume the objective is to have quick evaporation without rust or shorting of the shaver. I could just add some drops of oil from my old shaver to the alcohol solution for lubrication, which the cartridges claim to provide, even though not listed in ingredients..

My boyfriend has the same shaver and he uses rubbing alcohol in it with no problems so far.
