Need to take my used electric shaver back, any excuses for a refund?

Brought a £40 electric shaver from Boots yesterday. I have used it also but want to take it back for a refund. what can i say to them to get a full refund? Uk answers please

Tell them it keeps cutting out every so often,thats what I said with my lady shaver,no problem with refund if its faulty,and theyre hardly likely to get the thing out,plug it in and start a shave in the shop lol,they wont have the time,theyl just send it back to manufacturer.
