Can i use a hair trimmer to trim my beard?

i was thinking about buying a beard trimmer… but i already got a pretty good hair trimmer… i could use it to trim my beard right?? it gets as close as 3mm… thx… what i wanna know is, am i gonna hurt my face if i do lol??

Well I use a hair trimmer for my entire body & facial hair, it works great for me.. but just may take a couple tries before you can perfect the look of yoour beard.. I know thats how it was for me haha
